At the invitation of the association “Grupo Amizade Caboverdiana” Grace Beatriz has given a lecture on behalf of the Dany Foundation in Luxembourg on the plight of the evacuated patients in Portugal. the conference took place on March 16th 2014 during the socalled Festival des migrations, des cultures et de la citoyenne link

In september 2013 Grace Beatriz went to Cape Verde (São Vicente & Santo Antão) and visited several schools, a retirement home and an orphanage to distribute goods (schoolarticles, backpacks, clothing, medicin, food parcels, toys/games/cuddly bears) for those in need of them. In October 2012 Grace Beatriz went to Portugal/Lisbon to visit the pension “25 Abril”. She came to try to lift the spirits of the residents, evacuated patients from Cape Verde. She brought clothing, bed linen and toys/cudly bears for the needy tenants. Click on the photo’s for a bigger version.
